On a coroner’s warrant the Irish authorities arrested three policemen in connection with the shootings early in April at Miltow.n in County Galway, •where Hie police and military were involved in a collision with civilians, three, of the .latter being killed and nine wounded. ATTACK ON A MAGISTRATE. ASSAILANTS SUFFER BADLY. TWO POLICEMEN KILLEp. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received May. 12. 9 p.m. •■ ■■■:- LONDON, May 11.' A party of armed men attacked Mr Wynne, resident magistrate at Tralee while-motoring. Mr Wynne replied by fifing five revolver shots, killing one Sinh Feirier and wounding two othefs. The rest fled. Mr Wynne was not wounded. ,-.A gang of men fired with revolvers at three policemen leaving the Lower Road police station in Cork, killing two and dangerously wounding the third.
