AUSTRALIAN PRECAUTIONS. Bv Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISTGUURGH, Wednesday. The secretary of the Canterbury Potato Growers’ Association cabled Urn Federal Minister of Agriculture on Saturday asking for definite information regarding the restriction on the importation of New Zealand potatoes. The Federal quarantine officer lias .fit-' plied that owing to the existence of serious potato diseases importation into Auslralia is prohibited. ' 11 '
