WAIHOU CLUB’S GATHERING. (By Telegraph.—Special to Times.) - TE AROnA, Wednesday. „ The Waihou Polo Club’s sporls were held at Te Aroha racecourse to-day b.e ■■ fore a fair attendance. The weather was fine, the races .being keenly contested. The results of the chief events are as follows: — Visitors’ Plate. —Dusky Maid 1, Larry 2, Tui 3. Somers Cup.—Mavis 1, Dusky Maid 2, Larry 3. Hurdles.—White Stockings 1, Empire 2, Rainbow 3. Goodfcllow-Parkinson Cup.—Mavis 1, Miss Love 2, Resilient 3. Five Furlongs.—Miss Love 1, Empire 2, Larry 3. Consolation Race.—Some Girl t, Empire 2. 0 Polo Ball Race.— P. O’Grady 1, T. Hines 2. Bending Competition.—P. O’Grady t, .1. N. Spence 2.
