MANY WEK-END CASES

There were 71 influenza deaths during the week-end and on Sunday, making the total to date 116. MELBOURNE* March 31. The influenza deaths to date total 679. including 12 during the week-end. ADELAIDE, March 31. Since, the 19th inst. there have been 164 cases of influenza. Seven deaths occurred at Port Pirie. PRECAUTIONS IN SYDNEY. (United Press Association.) Received March 31, 9.53 p.m. .SYDNEY, March 31. All the schools in the metropolitan area have been closed. A PREVIOUS VISITATION. Cl DEATHS AT BROKEN HILL. (United Press Association.) Received April 1, 10.30 a.m. SYDNEY, April 1. The report of the medical officer at Broken Hill states that during 1918 the city experienced an epidemic of pneumonic influenza, 01 deaths occurring.
