OHAUPO HORSE SALE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., report:We held our spring horse sale at Ohaupo on the 16th, 17th and 18t!i inst., wl'en vvc submitted 94 unbroken and broken colts and Allies, i 9*'. droughts (broken), and 128 light hcrscs. Unbroken stock was low m value, but vendors mostly sold without reserve, and nearly all this c'.'fs cimngcd !iands. A good demand existed for broken draughts of tne tight stamp, and they realised satisfactory figures. The light horses were mainly of poor quality. Prices: Draughts, with trials, £29 10s to £34 10s; farm horses, £2O to £27; aged draughts, £l2 to £l7; light half draughts, £ls to £l9; light harness horses, £lO to £l6 10s; cobs, £7 to £l2; ponies, £2 to £4 10s; unbroken two and three-year-old light draught colts, £9 10s to £l6; hack sorts, £1 10s to £5 10s.
