IUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the "Waipa County Council will be held at the Council Chamber, Ohaupo, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon on TUESDAY, the 12th day of November, 1918, for the purpose of confirming the following resolution passed by way of special order at a special meeting of the said Waipa County Council, held on the Bth day of October, 1918. RESOLUTION. That for the purpose of providing the amount necessary to enable the Waipa County Council to comply with an Order of His Excellency the Govencr of New Zealand, under the provisions of Section 119 of "The Public Works Act, 1908," dated the 9th day of April, 1918, whereby the Wai. kato County Council was authorised to construct a hridge over the Waikato River at Horotiu with approaches and that the Waipa Couny Council should pay one-third of the cost of such bridge and approaches the Waipa County Council hereby resolves (to raise a sneeial loan of £3OOO over the whole of the Waipa County, and that such loan shall l>e for a period of 36£ years on the instalment svstem under the provisions ef Part 111. of "The Local Bodies' I/onns Act, 1913," the rate of interest being 4£ per centum per

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that a meeting of the Kirikiriroa Road Board wil lx> held at the office of the Board, Hamilton East, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon on TUESDAY, the 12th daw of November, 1918, for the purpose of confirming the following resolution passed by way of Special Order at a special meeting of the said Kirikiriroa, Road Board, held on the 7th day of Octolier, 1918. RESOLUTION. The Kirikiriro Road Board hereby resolves by way of Special Order to raise a special loan of Jour thousand pounds under the provisions of Section IOE of "The l.oeal Bodies' Loans Act, 1913," fur the benefit of that portion of the Kirikiriroa Boad District known as the Horsham Downs Special Bating Area, tor the purpose of purchasing land for roads and constructing and forming roads and metalling and sanding roads for the first time in the said Horsham Downs Special Bating Area, such loan to l>e for a period of thirtysix and one.half years, tmder Part TIT. of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913," with interest at 4£ per centum per annum, and to he S''curd by special rate ofjd in the pound on all ratable property in the said Horsham Downs Snecial Bating Area, and that the cost of raising the loan and of the first year's interest and sinking fund during the construction of the works be pa'd out of the loan.
