HOME AGAIN

A troop train, with 140 returned soldiers on board, arrived at Frankton this morning Jrom Wellington. The train wa s in charge of Captain Coutts. Most of the men were looking very well, there being no cot cases. Thirty left the train at Frankton, 10 being for Hamilton and 20 for destinations on the Rotorua and Thames lines.

Many of the men were accompanied by their wives, married in England. Mr A. E. Manning, representing the local Patriotic Society, met the train, and welcomed the soldiers home. Cantain Bellamy and Sergeant-Major Matthews, representing No. 4 Group, were also present. Among those on hoard the train were several members of the Main Body, returning on furlough.
