WINDENG UP ENEMY BANKS. NO NATURALISATION FOR GERMANS FOR FIVE YEARS AFTER THE WAR. (Australian and N.2. Cable Assn.' LONDON. July 21. The Receiver in Bankruptcy has taken over the branches of the enemy banks, which will be immediately wound up and assets distributed. Legislation exists making it impossible to open a branch of banks in Britain for a period of years after the war. In the House of Commons the Aliens Bill was read a third time. A clause was inserted excluding Germans from naturalisation for five years after the war.
