RAIDS SECURE PRISONERS. (Australian and N.Z. and Renter.) Received Julv 22, 10.15 p.m. LONDON, July 21. A British-Italian official message said that we carried out three raids westward of the Asiago Plateau, taking prisoners. W,e destroyed 17 aircraft since the 16th.
IN ALBANIA
j FRANCO-ITALIAN ADVANCE. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) j Received Julv 22, 10.55 p.m. ] LONDON, July 22. An Italian official report states that in Albania we carried point 1071 on the crest of Malyhilovves, taking prisoners. The French, advancing astride Devoli, participated in the action. Our captures in Albania to Friday were 2167 prisoners, 10 medium guns, 1G field and mountain guns, four trench guns, two trench mortars, 38 machine-guns, six aeroplanes, and much other material. We also liberated some hundreds of Ita. lian and Russian prisoners. LATER IMPORTANT ITALIAN CAPTURES. THE ITALIANS WARMLY WELCOMED. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received July 23, 8.50 a.m. LONDON, July 22. Mr Ward Price states that the Italians' booty in Albania includes all sorts of mechanical equipment, light railway lines and aerial cableways, which are of extreme value in a country of primitive transportation. The population warmly welcomed the Italians, declaring that the Austrians starved and bent them, and shot some on the slightest provocation.

SUCCESSFUL BRITISH ATTACKS. (Australian and N.Z. and Reuter.) I Received July 22, 10.15 p.m. ■ LONDON, July 21. Sir Douglas Haig reports that our aeroplanes on Saturday dropped 18 tons of bombs on the Courtrai-Lille railways, th e Bruges docks, and three large dumps and billets. There has been more fighting. W e brought down 14 aeroplanes and drove down three uncontrollable and destroyed three balloons. Seven British machines are missing. The Air Ministry report states that photographs show the extensive damage to a hostile aerodrome at Morhange, the result of an attack on Friday night. One large shed and three hangers were destroyed.
