Deceased, who was subject to fits. was apparently in his usual health yesterday morning, w hen Mr Clement loft home, hut upon the latter"s return I"' missed Thomas and -instituted a scnrHi, when he found him lying dead in the yard, face <lo\vnwards Tn the mud. Th e Deputy-Coroner (Mr W. F. Mason) has derided that an inquest is unnecessary, as l)r Rogers, who has been attending deceased, is prepared 'o give - certificate thnt death was due to epilepsy and suffocation.
