HAMILTON STOCK SALE The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, report: — At our Hamilton stock sale yesterday the yarding was small. Pigs sold well. Weaners, 15s to -Is Gd; slips, 31s; porkers, £3 7s to £5 12s 6d. Fat wethers, 40s; fat ewes, 275; four-tooth store wethers, 29s to 31s fid; two-tooth wethers, 28s 9d; cull wethers, 2's. Fat cows, £lO 2s Cd to £l3 7s; 20-month 'steers, £7 15s; 18-month heifers, £fi 10s to £7 14s; smaller sorts, £4 10s to £5 2s fid; a few dairy cows sold at from £6 15s to £l2. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., quote:—Beef, small yarding. Cows, to £10; store heifers, £4 15s to £<> ss; yearling bulls (Shorthorn) sold at £9; calves, from £2 14s to £4 ss. I'igs: Fair yarding, and sold freely from £2 15s to £5. Messrs Dalgety and Co. quote: — Shorthorn bulls, up to £9 ss; store cows, £fi 10s to £7 15s; two-vear steers (store conditioned), £fi 5s to £7 17s; two-year heifers (in calf), £5 5s to £0 10s; weauer calves (small), up to £3. Sheep: Ewes (in lamb), 14s fid; rams, 10s. DAIRY COW SALE. The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company report: — On Wednesday, at Hamilton, we yarded 120 dairy cows and heifers. Competition was a little easier, but anything of quality was sought for. Co\v» realised from £9 10s to £lB 18s; one extra choice cow, £2l 10s; a nice line of first class heifers from Tuhikaramea brought from £l4 to £2l 10s, an average of £lfi bis.
