COMFORTS FUR TROOPS
AN URGENT APPEAL. Second Lieut. V. H. Sanson, a member of the 41st Reinforcements, writ-' ing from Trentham camp, says:— "Allow me to appeal to the peonle of the Waikato district for magazines, novels, indoor games, music, songs, or anything which would give the men some recreation 011 the troopship. They should be sent at once, and addre:l;ed to O.C. F Company, 41st Reinforcements, Trentham. All gifts for troops, I think, are carried free by the railway people. The men would bp particularly grateful if anything of the kind can be done. It is proposed that any such gifts should, at the end of the voyage, be handed over to the \.\LC.A. and Codford Hospital.'' Lieut.
