SECOND DIVISION
CLASS B RESERV'STS. LARGE PERCENTAGE OF UNFITS. (Special to Times.) WELLINGTON, -Mondav. ( So far the ballot in Class K of the Second Division ha? not produced H» many fit mei: as wove expected. Up to June 28. 12.D00 reservists in this class had been examined, and of thesn 7099 had been declared unfit, 2162 had annealed and 2047 had hen ordered into camp. The number of unfit, under the severer examination, was not above the average, hut the number of appeals was in excess of former experiences, and probably the exemptions, under ih-.' new regulations in regard to the last man on the farm and certain agricultural workers, will be large. Hut the physique of the accepted men compares very favourably with those of previous drafts, and in other respects they promise to maintain the high standard of former reinforcements. The remaining classes of the division contain (30,470 men, and it is hoped will bo more than sufficient to satisfy the requirements of the Defence authorities during the war.
