IN CONQUERED FRANCE. LOATHSOME AND UNPRINTABLE ACTS. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received April 19, 8.50 a.m. PARIS, April 18. The Commission, which is investigating German atrocities in reconquered France, reports systematic methods to reduce the citizens to servitude. Women and girls were raped from their homes and towns, industries, trees, and implements destroyed with the evident object of inspiring terror. Some places were wrecked, the beds A chests and everything available being carried away. Loathsome and unprintable acts were done on the altars of some of the churches.
