SUPERVISOR'S REPORT. .At- tlio mooting of 111 o Waipa County Council yesterday the supervisor (.Mr . H. jManiiono) submitted the following report:— (•'rador Work.—Tin- grader lias made good progress during tin- niontli, the weatltfn' on the whole having heeii iavotirahle. NO. 1 machine has heen working on tlio Tiihikaramea-Hamilton and Tuhikaraniea-Ohaupo roads. This work is about finisliod, and the machine will now move into the Newcastle liding. Xo. 2 machine (J. 1'oilly) has heen engaged on roads in Paterangi and Te Pore, and is still working in the last named district. His man having to attend a military training camp, the machine will he stopped in the interval. Xo. 3 machine (C. Hvgrave) has heen employed ail th<> month on the Pangiaohia Hoad Hoard roads. Xo. 4 machine (H. Peiily) has been working oil the Ohaupo-Hamilton road, and is about to shift on to tlie load between Hamilton and Xgarua wahi i. -Metalling on the Cambridge-Kihikihi read has b; en stepped for this season. The work amliorised on the road to Te Mawhai bridge is finished. As regards metalling on'the Ohaupo-Hainil-ton road, near Mr .Steele's farm, finding it impossible to got the work done locally, I arranged with Te Awamutu contractors to shift to Pukuhia, and put the job through, and the greater part of the work is completed. Nearer Hamilton pi\ gross has been slower, as metal has been corning to hand very slowly. The contractor for carting the metal for the Hamilton-Tubikaranioa road has only been getting on slowly, having iiad great difficulty in obtaining drivers for bis teams.
