General Smuts reports that in East Africa the main German force was divided. One part was caught between converging British columns, and driven northwards and the remainder was forced to surrender north-eastwards of Neulangenburg. The remnent of General Wahle'e force is reduced to half by casualties, and is making eastwards for Mahenge.
