Received October 11, 11.10 a.m. AMSTERDAM, October 10. 1 he torpedoing of the Rloomersdyk has angered Holland. An official inquiry will be held. Rerlin messages claim that their submarines sank seven English vessels and three neutrals carrying contraband in the English Channel between September 13th and October sth. SUBMARINES OUTLAWED. A wireless message states that it is reported that the Government has definitely prohibited German submarines from revictualling in Spanish waters. CAPABILITIES OF THE CRAFT. A RANGE OF 1800 MILES. 1 (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received October 11, 1J.30 a.m. COPENHAGEN, October 10. Large new German submarines off the Murman coast have a range of 1800 miles and are able to carry 10 days' provisions. It is supposed that they are being provisioned by commercial submarines in the Arctic. WIRELESS STATION BOMBARDED. TWO SUBMARINES SUNK. Received October 11, 11.10 a.m. LONDON, October 10. The Daily Chronicle's Christiania correspondent states that German submarines bombarded the wireless station at Zepnavalok, on the Murman coast, and killed several. Russian destroyers sank two submarines.
