ENTERTAINMENTS.
THE KING'S. "The Waif" will be the feature film in the new programme to be screened at The King's this evening. It is a deeply absorbing story dealing with the fortunes of a city waif who, in spite of difficulties and obstacles, meets the world with a smile, and by grim determination and resolute insistence, obtains a footing on the bottom rung of the ladder, and rapidly mounts to the top Patrons can rely upon a splendid evening's amusement, as the supporting films are all in keeping with the star subject. THEATRE ROYAL. Those who enjoy a little merriment should not seeing the very amusing and clever Keystone comedy, which will be screened at the Theatre Royal for the last time to-night. To-morrow afternoon and evening, Robert W. Chambers' widely-read novel, "The Fighting Chance" will be presented. E. K. Lincoln, who will be remembered for his excellent work in the Vitagraph Company, has the leading role as Stephen Seward, the man who is given a fighting chance, to win the woman of his heart, but failed.
