Dr. Valintine extended a warm welcome to the delegates. Dootor Purchas was elected president until the next session. THOROUGH INSPECTION ADVOCATED. OMINOUSLY FREQUENT. (Received Sept. 125, 10.35 a.m.j SYDNEY, Sept,; 25. Thid section sittings of the Congress have concluded. Dr. Weihein in a paper emphasised the necessity for through medical inspection of as cases* of advanced consumption among immigrants were becoming ominously freqjuent.
