Lord Lonsdale objects to the ineCjUality between Johnson and W ells, and says that on that account the forthcomingi contest will not be a bona-fide one.
The fact that Johnson lis getting £6OOO and Wells £2(100 is, he adds, proof that inequality between the combatants is recognised as existing.
