CONSERVATIVE GAINS. (Per Press Association.—Copyright.) OTTAWA, Sept. 22. The Liberals carried Alberta, except Clagary, while 1 the Conservatives overwhelmed the' Liberals in Ontario, the Liberals carrying only twelve seats. British Columbia went entirely Conservative. In Manitoba the Lil>erals held only oine seal, while Saskatchewan, returned seven Liberals and three Conservatives. Nova Scotia and New Brunswick were comparatively unaltered. In, Quebec, the Liberals held thirty, seven seats, but the Independents and Conservatives gained twenty.
