AMUSEMENTS.
*■■ THREE HATS. To-morrow night in aid of the funds of the Hamilton Fire Brigade, the Hamilton Comus Club will stage the three act comedy "Throe Hats" in the Town Hall. The play is a laughter raoser of the first order, and should draw a crowded house. The object is a good one, for a volunteer fire brigade is a necessity in every town, and combined with amjateur theJatricals the evening should be a popular one. The cast of the play contains the following names :—-Mesdames Going and McArthur, Misses O'Neill and Roche, and Messrs Chitty, E. B. Davy, Milfiord McArthur, A. G. Shand, and Stanbrook. The box plan is at Paul's and we would advise early boo'dnn; as it is rapidly filling. TII3 prices are, 3s, 2s and Is. SKATING. All three sessions at the Hamilton Seating Rink on Saturday were well patronised, and though the weather is perhaps thought by some to be getting too warm for this form of pastime, yet the Hamilton rink is well ventilated, and there appears to be no diminution in the attendance. A fancy dress- carnival is to be held on Wednesday, October 4th, when valuable prizes will be offered in the various competitions.
