MADRID, Sept. 13. There is a serious strike dn Northern Spain. The miners at Oviedo attempted to dynamite the railway. Martial law hag ibeen proclaimed at Bilbao, where the troops fired on the mob. Business is paralysed.

Evidence has concluded in connection with the claim of the Australian Workers- Union aigjeiinst th Pastoralists' Federal Council. Federal Arbitration ■ Court proceedings started in May and the evidence occupied fifty-three days. Enormous quantities oi documentary evidence were put in.
