SCHOOL TEACHER'S ADVENTURE.

A RUFFIAN'S ACTION

(Per Press Association.—Copyright).

(Received Sept. 14, 12.29 p.m.) OTTAWA, Sept. 13. The disappearance of a school teacher named Miss Brice, a relative of Mr Roblin, Premier of Anitalia, started a hue and cry along the trail left by the supposed murderer from the school-house to a gully a mile distant. The body was not found, and then the whole neighborhood took part in a search with, the result that the girl was found at last wandering the prairie. She had been captured by a ruffian and kept out all night on the prairie and repeatedly beaten. The man escaped, and if found will probably be lynched.
