PARIS, Sept. 11
The President of the Municipal! Couneil conferred with the Caterers' Union to arrange a table in the market price to be drawn up daily and widely enforced. The Rent Payers' Association, with five thousand members,' announces a strike against the threatened rise of rent in Paris. The first step will be a refusal to pay any rent in advance. The situation at Roubaix continues serious. Rioters looted the provision shops and erected barricades of stretched wire across the streets to trip the cavalry. They climbed lamp posts and extinguished the lights and removed th. plates covering the manholes of drains, to prevent the soldiers charging. There were many arrests and many soldiers were, injured by stone throwing.
