GIRL FATALLY BURNED.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This day. Doris Evelyn McCarten, aged nine years, died in the hospital result of burns sustained through her clothes catching fire at Otahuhu yesterday. The deceased was going to buy sweets when her clothes became alight in the main street. It ig surmised that a passer-by carelessly threw a lighted match.
