BRIBING A GAOLER.
a —♦ —- BAVARIAN PRETENDER. BERLIN, December 21. Two brothers, named Will, have been arrested in Bavaria charged with obtaining large sums of money bj pretences. A third brother, who was not arrested, induced a gaol or to liberate the other two, promising him a reward of £17,000 and £IOO,OOO a year later on, on the representation that they were really the Austrian Crown Prince and his brother. The gaolor was sentenced jp two years, and the Wills were rearrested and given long terms.
