GREAT GOLD FIND.
f A FIELD OF NUGGETS. BELIEVED RICHEST IN AUSTRALIA. MELBOURNE. December 10. excitement has beeu occasioned by the discovery of further lsuge nuggets in the Poseidon claim. and a rush has set in to Tarnagulla. Two men named Stephenson and Williamson yesterday unearthed a lump weighing 373 ounces, and a few minutes later Mr Woodall's party of four in an adjoining claim discovered nuggets of 000 ounces and resembling the appearance of the famous Welcome nugget. Both these nuggets were found about 18 inches below the surface, and close to where the previous finds were made. This is believed to be the richest ground for nuggets ever worked in Australia.
