SALE AT MONAVALE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd., report aa follows:—On Thursday last we held a clearing sale at Monavale, near Cambridge, on account of Mr F. W. Thomas. The sheep attracted a number of buyers from all parts of Waikato and King Country. Competition was brisk throughout. The 8('0 Bhorn ewes and lambs realising from £1 Is 3d to £1 2s 3d per couple ; Shropshire rams, from 2 to 2J guineas each; 3-year-old steers, £o ss; 2J-j ear steers, £1 10s j 3 year-old heifers, £'i 103; good heifers at profit, 15s to £7 5s j this season's calves, 15s; aged draught horses, £l6; buggy cob, jEJS; pony mare and foal, £ti ss. The sundry furniture, tools, etc., at prices.
