A DROWNING FATALITY.
♦ HOKITIKA, November 15. The body of an elderly man,'**' identified as thai of Mr VV. 11. a civil engineer, who is supposed to have come from the Auckaud district, and who arrived hereabout a month ago on a prospecting expedition, was found on the ocean beach early this morning. The body had only been a short time in the water, and it is presumed since last night; but there is no evidence to show hc>V' the accident happened.
