GROCERS' MARKETQ .OTAT'IONS. The following are the quotations for butter and eggs for the weet ending November 17, as arranged by the Auckland Dairy Produce Committee-. - Factory butter, Is per lb; farmers' butter, 8d; separator butter, Bd. Eggs, 10d per dozen.HIGH COMMISSIONER'S CABLE. WELLINGTON, November 11. The prices ruling for shipments of mutt >n now arriving are very small, and high pries are restricting business. Canterbury brands are quoted at sd, and North Island ut l'here is better demand for lamb. Stocks on hand are light and firmly held in a few hands. Canterbury brands are quoted at sjjd, and other than Canterbuiy at 4jjd. Buyers are not inclined to make forward purchases at present rates. The beef market is very firm. Tho supplies from the River Plate are sw»ll, hind and foreiiuartera being quoted at 4Jd> and 4d lespectively. The butter market is stQidy, but not likely to advance. Supplies are increasing, and buyers are holding back, expeoting prices to go lower. The October imports exceed those of the corresponding period of last year by 30,15(3 cwt. C.ioice Jew Zealand is quoted at 116s; Danieli at 1235; aDd Siberian at 104 3. The transactions in cheese are very limited. The market is cuiet, and Canadian makes are quoted at 63a per cwt. The hemp market is Quiet, and prices are slightly weaker. Aioderate business has been done at £36 10s for g.a.f q., Wellington on ep.t, and at £3j 5s for JanuaryUarph shipments. THE LONDON MARKETS.
