MELBOURNE LABOUR TROUBLE.
——-♦ STRIKE OF SLAUGHTERMEN. MELBOURNE, November 13. A strike of slaughtermen occurred at private freezing works at Footscrav. which are largely engaged in the export of frozen lamb. The men demanded an advance of 25 per cent, in their wages. The strike is not supported by the Union, and is in defiance of the decision of the Wages Board.
