A DISASTROUS FIRE.
♦ PANIC AT A BARGAIN SALE. MELBOURNE, November 11. The damage done by the Richmond fire amounts to £20,000. The shop was crowded witli bar-gain-hunters, mostly women, at the time of the outbreak, which was caused by the fusion of an electric wire, which set fire to goods in the window. A panic commenced, and there were some exciting scenes before the shop was cleared.
