THE EXHIBITION.
THE ENTERTAINMENT COMMITTEE (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHUHCH, Nov. 12 Mr Fro.sick, Chairman of the ceremonial and Entertainment Committee of ibe Exhibition, states that a full meeting of the Entertainment Committee was held this afternoon to consider the position in view of the new managerial arrangements, but that it was decided to communicate nothing as to the result, pending the submission of the decision to the Minister in, a day or two, Colonel Pitt being at present indisposed. ILLNESS OF COL. PITT. CHRISTCHURCH, This day. The Hon. Col. Pitt, who has been health for some time past, has been removed to a private hospital in Christchurch. It is understood that when there is an improvement in his health he will take a trip to the Hot Lakes. A DISSATISFIED COMMITTEE. CHRISTCHURCH, This day. Outside and inside the Exhibition yesterday the chief subject of discussion so far as the International Fair is concerned, was the Cabinet's reorganisation of the scheme of management. The generally expressed opinion is that Mr Munro has not had his powers curtailed in any way and that the change in his official designation signifies nothing. The Government's ' proposals have provided much dissatisfaction amongst the committees, and especially the ceremonial and Entertainment Committee and also amongst the commissioners. A member of the Entertainment Committee indicated that a meeting been called for yesterday afternoon, hut as the day was practically a holiday nothing could be definitely decided before Monday. There is a . a strong impression that the com--1 mittee will resign. 3 **
