WAIKATO HOSPITAL BOARD.

The usual monthly meeting of the Waikato Hospital Board was held on Thursday morning at the Board's offices, Hamilton. Present: Messrs W. Dey (chairman), Mcljuirk, Primrose, McGloin, Chepmell, Cowley, Gavin and Bailey. Mr H. J. Greenslade, M H.R., forwarded a letter he had received from the Minister of Publio Health, informing him that a sum of jEIGUO had been placed on the Estimates for the Waikato Hospital as a grant towards the erection of new buildings. —Received. The Government Balneologist wrote ask ing that arrangements should be made for the admission of James Willingbam, Kotcrua, to the Hospital, and the Department of Tourist and Health Resorts would pay the cost.—Reoeive i, and it was decided to mike arrangements. Dr. Douglas, Medical Superintendent, re ported as follows Number of patients at last return, 32 miles, 12 females; ad mitted since, 39 males 2 lem .les; numb<r of deaths, 2 males j number discharged, 2b males 8 females; remaining at date, 35 males 9 females.
