WIDESPREAD CORRUPT PRACTICES. NEW YORK. November <>. Wall-street hutting is four anil five to one in favour of Mr Hughes, the Republican candidate for tlie Govership of New York, as against Mr Hearst. Ten thousand warrants have been issued against persons for fraudulently registering votes. HEAVY POLLING. TAMMANY JUDGES ELECTED. LONDON, November 7. There is extraordinarily heavy voting in the New York State. Telegraphing at eleven last night. Reutei states that Mr Hearst's plurality in New York is growing rapidly, and may reach eighty thousand. Mr Hughes' majority in the up State districts must increase lapidly to secure his election. Judges of the Tammany ticket have been elected. NEW YORK. November 7. The returns from all the State elections show that the Republicans retain control of Congress by a majority of 7<>, instead of 11-, as expected. MR HUGHES' RETURN. A GREAT MAJORITY. NEW YORK, November 7. The entire Republican ticket of New York State elected Mr Hughes. The latest returns give his majority as 45,000. ill - Hearst attributes his defeat to many disaffected Tammany democrats, following in the loss of the brokers' lead. THE ANTI-TRUST KEELING. LONDON, November 7. The Pall Mall Gazette states that the intensity of the Anti-trust feeling is the most abiding impression of the election.
