GYMNASIUM CONCERT.

At St. Pater'g azh jolrooin last evening, ! the c >ncert held in aid of the funds of the gymnasium connected with the Church, was attended by a large number who thoroughly appreciated the excellent program me arranged. Proceedings opened with a march by 20 pupils under Mr L. Munro, the movements being ctrried out very steadily. Songs were sung by Messrs VV. H. Fricker, G. Warren, W. K. Schwabe, A. Xlerrington and C. Holloway, with a ([Uirtette by the Hamilton quartette party. Dumb bell exercises and rings were given by the pupils. During the interval the Hamilton Kugby Union badges were presented to tho members of the Suburbs senior and No. 1 Juniors, who won their respective championshipi, and the Hamilton ' rep 3," the recipients being:—Messrs Kouley, r>. Dey, R. Farrer, Prince, W. B. Smith, F. Innes, Ru-sell, Julian, Page, Woarne, Callaghin, Monre. Hill, Hughes, Harwood, J. P. Mc- ! GUmgle, Clarkin, Castleton, Crowley, Ellis and Windsor. Mr R. J. Gwynne in asking Mrs rtidc'iffd to present the badgoe, Slid Hauiiltonuns were well pleased with their representative, who had upheld tho town's reputation both on and off the field For the first time in the history of the Union the " reps" were to be presented with bad_;e?, and hj» hoped that theso would always be synonymous with the words "clean sport."
