THE KIHIKIHI VANDALS.

At the Te Awatnutu Magistrate's Court on Wednesday morning last, Mr Northcroft, S.M., gave his decision in the charges against Etnsley and Moody, of Kihikihi. For destroying Mr H. B. Millers fruit trees they were convicted, each fined =£lo and ordered to pay the damages £0 13s and costs £2 18s. For killing Mr Chapman's ducks they wore ordered to come up for sentence when called upon, and to enter into their own recognisance of Xl'3 each, do that their respective parents would not be punished by way of having to pay the fines, etc, the magistrate ordered that the amounts would have to be paid out of the earnings of the two defendants, otherwise they would be sent to Mfc. Eden for six months.
