HAMILTON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE.

The committee of the above met in Mr J. S. Bond's office last night. Mr G. W. Sara presided, and most of the members were present. A vote of thanks was pissed to the Postal Department for complying with the Chamber's request for an extra delivery. lhe secretary was insiruc ed to write to the Minister for Agriculture pointing out the suitability of the Waikato when" considering the establishment of a dairy school. Messrs Sare, Bond, Davis, Ellis, Mayo, Yoang and Swarbrck were appointed a committee to endeavour to have extended telephone facilities provided. It was decided to hold the quarterly meeting of the whole C hainber on 15th October. The secretary was instructed to write to Mr H. W. Northoroft, 8,111., asking him to consider the advisability of holding a fortnightly sitting of the Magistrate's Court at Hamilton. A committee consisting of Messrs Sare, Swarbrick and Bond was appointed to ad-' vance the nutter of the establishment of a Lands office at Hamilton. A letter is to be sent to the Railway Department asking them t> favourably consider the Borough's application for a aiding to the new saleyards. Messrs S. B. Sim.s and £. Mciarrigle were elected members of the Chamber.
