The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, report:-On Saturday we held a sale of dairy stock in the new yards, when, notwithstanding the continuous rain, there w»s a good attendanoe, and we report a successful sale. Two hundred and sixty dairy co*s and heifers were offered, and bidding was brisk for everything either at profit or close to eiiving, a nnmher being purchased by Matuinata and Selwyn Estate settlers.
