Mr Jnmes Burgess, junr., of Ruakiwi, is laid up in the Waikato Hospital, having lately undergone an operation for appendicitis, and his many friends are glad to hear that he is making good progress under Dr Douglas' care. At a meeting of the provisional directors of the Raglan Pub'ic Hall Company Saturday, it was decided to instruct Mr W. J. Smith to prepare plans and specifications for the building. i
