THE GAMBLING EVIL
{By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, This Day. At a meu's meeting, connected with the Methodist Central Mission, Mr Justice Cooper who presided.made an incisive attack on the gambling evil. He said our welfare wa3 being menaced and the tone of the community lowered by the prevalence of the habit. The conscience of the people wanted arousiug. Men and women should learn that gambling was vicious and immoral and against the best interests of the home, family and State.
