The brigade hope by their art and bazaar effort to place themst-lves on a good financial footing, and therefore appeal to every rerident to assist by patronage and donation. At the pre=ent lime the has absolutely no funds to work on, they have a valuable renl on which they owe several pounds, th«y require about a thousand feet more hose with couplings, and they desire to send a team of five meu to the Exhibition contests, htfd these calls demand money to enable them to procure and contest.
