REMUERA STOCK SALE. (By Telegraph.—Special to Waikato Times.) AUCKLAND. This Day. Messrs Alfred Buckland and Co. report: —At Remuera, yesterday, there was a full market of beef, which sold well up to last week's quotations. Steers made from £6 10s to JEI2; cows, ill- 10s and i>S 12s Gd. Sheep were in full supply, and met steady competition at slightly lower rates. Wethers sold up to 26a 6d; ewes, to 27s 6d ; hogget?, to 21s 3d ; laoibs, to 255. Pigs were in usual supply and sold extra well. Porkers sold to 255; baconera to 525. MARKET PRICES CURRENT. ADDINGTON' STOCK SALE. CHRISTCHDR*U, Wednesday. At the Addington livn etook market, except in f*t cattlu and fat aheep, there were moderate entries of stock in tho yards and a good attendance. The salo of fat cattle was irre.-ular and prices easier, especially for priuie sort?. Store wethera Hold well, but moat of the linei of hoggets were passed in. Fat sheep showed little change in values. Pigs showed a still further rise in prices Store and cvttle met with a fair sale. The sale opened dull and prices were rather weaker, except for prime heavy sheep, but improved towards the close, when graziers operated mote freely and took a number of lots of unfinished sheep. The range of prices was : Prime wethers, 22s 6d to 25s 9d ; others, 19s 2d to 225; ewns, prime, 20s to 23s 3d ; medium, 18s to 19s fid ; hoggets, 18s to 19s Id; prime merino wethers, 17s (id to 19s 9d; good, Ifis to 17s. 'I he yarding of fat. cattle totalled 275, a gord proportion being prime quality steer* and heifers, the supply being beyond requirements. The sale was irregular and prices easier, especially for prime quality cows, and second quality steers and heifers selling well up to the previous week's rates. The entry of store cattle was made up chiefly of small lots, of which two-year-olds were the best. There was a fair amount of business done at the following rates: —Yearlings, 265; 15 to 18months, 31s to 535; two-year steers, £3 12h til; two-year heifers, 12s 61; threeyear steers (few four years), .£5 7s 6d; three-year heifers, £1 los; dry cows, ill 13s to £3 111?. Dairy cows met with a fair sale up ,£8 ss.
