Mr J, 0. Wilson has been re-elected president of the Now Zealand Farmers' Union for the ensuing year. Mr C. W. Hursthouse, Chief Engineer of Roads, who was Utely a patient at the Waikato Hospital, has returned to Wellington and taken up his official duties again. Readers of the Waikato Times will share with the proprietor the keenness of his regret at having to announce that Mr S. V. Bracher, who for soma three and a half years has occupied tho editorial chair, has decided to sever his connection with this j >ut°ual in order to accept a positioa on ttie stall of the Press, Christohurch. Mr Bracher has conducted the paper in a very able mauner, as regards both literary style aud selection of matter, Whilst regretting the departure of a capable and conscientious journalist, we must express our sincere well wishes for his future welfare, and trust that in a few short years he may stand in thec-ivoted position at the top of the tree.
