HAMILTON LAWN TENNIS CLUB.
■ —__4 • The annual.meeting of the above club was hell List Saturday, and was in every way a great success. There was a good attendance of member? and their friends, MrR. F. Sandes presiding. A detailed account of the year's receipts and expenditure showing a credit balance was submitted by the hon. secretary and adopted. The following committees and officials weie duly elected : -Paton, MrF. W. Lans, M.H.R.; Pre« sident, Capt. Jackson ; Vice-President, Mr Hume. Ladies' Committee: Mesdames Hume, Sandes, Jolly, and Miss Newell. Gentlemen's Committee; Messrs Basley, Sandes, Edgecumbe, Von Sturmer,, and Lockhart, hon. sec and treasurer, Mr P. E. Stevens. Votes of thanks were accorded to Mrs Bright for the use of the court, the ladies who provided tea during last season,' The Hon.; Secretary, Mr Stevens; and a< Tote'of thanks to the chairman concluded one •of the most pleasant £nd successful' meetings the club has held.
