ANNUAL STALLION PARADE AT CAMBRIDGE.

The above parade ivas held in the Government Paddock, Cambridge, on Wednesday last, when the following entires were exhibited for the benefit of intending breeders:-Thoroughbreds: J. McNicol'a executors Pinfire, by Torpedo— Yalterina; Win. Taylor's Gipsy King, by Le Loup-Gitana; F. Marshall's Tasman, by St. Albans-Zillah; J. Brown's Muskapeer, by Musket-Venus Transit; C. Weal's Freedom, by Captivat©r—Maid of Honour; J. Brown's Renilworth; Hannon Bros.' The Peer, by Muskapeer Haricot (2 years). Roadster: Jno. Daigleish's Balderdash. Coaching sire.: Messrs Patterson's Yorkshireman. Irish hunting sire : H. W. Holdgate's Paddy's Land. Timor pony: F. Storey's Bonnie Tom, by Bonnie Charlie. Draughthones; C. Lake's Lord Glasgow, W; Chitty's Lord Rosebery, Wm. Taylor's'General Fleming, Wm. Taylor's Royal Conqueror, Jas. Baxter's Chancellor, A. A. Company's VVaverley. In addition to the above, 'a draught-Willie Wallace-belonging to Mr Winstone,'of Auckland, and a very small pony-General Tom Thumb—the property of Mr Joiiathan Brown, of Tauranga, were exhibited, and the. .latter caused considerable amusement by the manner in wh ; ch he performed with no less than three boys on his back. . The attendance of the public was hardly so large as at last year's parade, and the opinions' expressed about the different sires were very diverse; each 1 horse having a ceritain number of admirers.
