FROZEN MEAT TRADE

Ward, chairman, in moving the adoption of the report, said the company had every reason to expect a large increase in their revenue by the development of the meat trade. The report was adopted, and the retiring directors re-elected.
Two thousand carcases of frozen meat, a portion of (lie cargo of the s.s. liawko's Bay, which left Wellington on March 13, have been condemned. The bad state of the meat was caused through water getting into the hold of the vessel.
