HOME RULE BILL.
(BY ELECTRIC lEt.EGIIAFH—COPYKIGIIT.) Loxijox, May 12, Ix committee on the Irish Homo Rule Bill, clause one, providing for a legislature in Ireland consisting of Her Majesty the Queen and of two Houses, a Legislative Council and a Legislative Assembly, was passed on a division by a majority of 42. Tho discussion on this clause lias lasted the greater part of the week.
Sir Hobert Hamilton, tlio late Governor of Tasmania, in an article in the Speaker, declares that the Irish administration is at the root of the hostility of a section of the English people against llio granting of autonomy.
