OPINIONS OF THE PRESS. (BY ELECTBIC TELEGRAPH.— COi'VRIGHT.) London, May 20. The Economist says that theoretically it wuuld prefer to see the Bank of New Zealand pat in liquidation and re-constructed, but such a course would involve additional hardships and losses. It i.s desirable, therefore, to transfer the headquarters to London and replace local managers by new men bound by hard nnd fast rules. I -
